Hybrid Winter Trade Fair
The Winter Fair is scheduled for January 16, 17, 18
We will be returning to Delucia for this Fair.
Fair Fee: 20k per vendor
Each 20k gives you:
- one vendor placement
- gold placed in your vendor's account to cover stock valued up to 1,250,000gp for three days (100k).
The Fair Fee of 20k and the resulting bankroll for the vendor is not retrievable nor refundable.
Setup
Vendor Setup will begin a day or so before. Vendors are placed and initially stocked in a setup area. Do not page for this. A gate or two will be opened to the setup area and announcements will be made. Town criers will also have information when the time comes.
At the setup area you will place your vendor. You and your vendor(s) will then be moved to a private room where you can safely stock and customize your vendor.
There is bank access and a provisioner at setup.
Once the fair begins, the vendors are moved to the fair by staff.
At the Fair
Falsely named commodity deeds are not allowed.
Priced containers that are overweight (to the point of not being purchasable) will be removed. The vendors are not storage containers.
The Fairgrounds will be busy. Spam and advertising will make it intolerable. Please use the area outside the fair walls for advertising and promotion.
Fair Closure
When the fair is over the vendors are moved back to the setup area. Players can page to retrieve items and gold from sales still on their vendor. Vendors not claimed after one week are deleted.
Other details
You have access to your vendor(s) at the fair like any other player vendor. You can stock, restock, rearrange, customize, collect gold and dismiss the vendor.
The fair does not have any special ruleset. It will be within town limits and normal guard zone.
If you need to give your vendor more gold to cover vendor fees, do the following:
Place an item on the vendor like one black pearl or a sew kit, and price it for the amount you wish to give your vendor. For example, if you need to give the vendor 50k, you would price the sewing kit at 50000. When the two minute wait is over, purchase this item with another character. This will give the vendor the 50k but you will be able to retrieve any unused portion.
Dropping gold on the vendor also works however you will not be able to retrieve this gold and staff will not return gold from the vendor's account. The other method is recommended.
