Hey look like you want to troll with Xavier i wont denied it he my friend but who are you to talk ?

you shouldnt talk lucky enough gm brought you back no idea what you did or what you paid

let make everyone knows who you are

you Were GM in Demise you made Moded item
you Sold item for $$ with your buddy jim
you Also spammed in the shard to play in the NEW SHARD you made
you deleted plots to place house

They still brought you back in demise

SO

Welcome Back Bile :)

they're not staff anymore, they wont be staff again (or at least i hope not...) - if they won as players, then they won. end of story.
just dont make them GMs again, THAT is the price they paid for that crap. they're still perfectly fine to be players though.
personally i think they shoulda started again from scratch, so then there's not even an issue with ill-gotten gains, but meh.

they just cant handle power, corrupts the shit outa them, and they should be kept away from it - that's what they've proven, and they should not be allowed to be staff again because of that.

but if they're not GMs and they still beat yas, you cant just keep bringing this shit up as a defence. -_-
sounds like you were just outsmarted tbh

Are you all fucking retarded? Ill-gotten gains? Corrupted by power? If you guys actually knew the truth you'd be ashamed of yourselves, posting that kind of unfounded nonsense.

The most that Bile ever did with his "power" was craft a sick fucking staff event that in the end was never used because it honestly made Xavier's events look like shit in comparison. Yeah, Bile's a real bad guy.

Omfg I just watched the Jim vs Muscly thing in Jim's signature. Holy shit where was I for that?! lmfao. Giggled the whole way through.

I spent so long constructing that, heh. It's a shame only a handful of people were able to test it out and the ones that did had a good time. It wasn't even near completion, I had planned numerous amounts of puzzles and hidden rooms with boss monsters and loots to acquire. I can't remember who, but I think it was Marshall who reigned terror on that place during a small test phase - it quickly delved into someone stand in and someone stand out of guardzone, chitchatting. LOL

I wont forget that day, weeks after that small test phase I happen to sneak into a game of Deal or No Deal. Some fellow decides to party me and asks me when my event was going to be taking place. Sadly, I informed him that its been halted and will most likely not take place due to me being the black sheep of the bunch and the higher ups having issues with it. Needless to say, I get an ear-full for telling this player the truth.

The first event I ever held was the Invasion of Trinsic and I did that on the fly, if I had weeks to prepare that would have been so much more badass.

If he reigned terror in a good way, then yes, Ill vouch for him and say it was him, but if you mean in a negative way, I have no clue who you're talking about because my marshall would do no such thing :p

if you were in a corruption scandal, in a government, and the leader went down, and all the accomplices did too, but got reduced sentences, you'd expect them to be released eventually, but you would never ever reinstate them to their old jobs.
it's just common sense.

there's 2 penalties:
  • the first is not being allowed to have that power again, the same way you don't let sex offenders be teachers.
  • the second is the stigma and reputation of people knowing what you did, and judging you because of it.

imo the first is a practical prevention measure, which makes sense.
the second though, there's no need for. people can always reform and stuff, it's harsh to say "you did this and we will never ever forgive you", might as well just leave them permabanned if that was the case.
they're not banned anymore, precisely because that is not the case.

but the potential for corruption is still there, the prevention measures are still necessary.
you're like drug addicts, but your drug is ownage, you just cant be trusted with the power, it's that simple.

sad state of affairs that :(

you'd have to design and submit to higher ups... :/

if you wanna see your event made, this should be good enough for you, if you want to be the master of the event, etc. that's the problem. that's where the corruption comes from :/
(tho does remind me of richard garriott running around the world as lord british, not exactly a common thing in video games though lol)

here's an idea for an event, Nuremberg Trials

...Did all of this start as ad-hominem again?
i was gonna say that, but i didn't think people would know what i meant ^^
100% the case here, and people need to stop being such little bitches about losing, tbh, not being a GM helps Bile's case completely, because when he beats you, you CANNOT blame it on him being a GM anymore, anything he can do, you can do too.

thread started as grasping for straws, straws which aren't even there anymore.
it's another point for why he shouldn't be a GM again though.. sry dude, but look on the bright side, you'll be able to play much more freely as a player that way too.

this thread is pure bitching, ad hominem bitching, it never should have been posted.

Sorry, not sorry. ... but while I agree with the latest assessment of Xavier, based on the last several posts of his/hers, I'd lump Whatever98 into the same category.

probation then, for a while at least, then maybe seer. it's personal opinion here tbh, but i dont think he should be allowed anywhere near GM level for at least a couple of years.
dont forget demise is a long running shard, and there's no hurry for new events, the ones we have at the moment are pretty damn good and abundant.

basically what you're saying is he wasn't an antagonist, he was just a collaborator. but he was also a beneficiary of the corrupt government, knew what was going on, and never spoke out against it.
it's actually kinda interesting, much more so than the original content of the thread:

How do you get that Bile is corrupt simply because he wanted to see the event he'd spent so much time on come to fruition and actually be an event? Remove head from arse, then speak.

Whatever98.... Who are you arguing against? At what point did anyone say or insinuate that Bile was trying to be a GM again?

Well i dont know the specifics, but why was he banned then if he did nothing wrong?

a bunch of the same GMs are still here, so it seems to me they're the ones that did nothing wrong

didn't someone say he was applying to be staff again..?
