I'm with Scorxx. Seems like Heavy is trying to construe some image that there is "insane amounts of pvp" now. From what I've played and what I've seen from his pictures, it's just the couple guys fresh out of the newbie dungeon who are always lurking around the pond.

Nope, just proving that the false statements that the upset sallos users are saying are not true. Nothing dead about pvp because sallos is down, I actually seen tons of action tonight. Just not from sallos fanboys, people that actually can pvp and want to pvp could actually come out and play.

The only reason you don't see the normal people that need sallos to pvp right now is because they think throwing a fit and seeing a 10 man population drop will make it so they get what they want.

the real thing those screen shots show is that the reds are still getting ganked by the blues at del ponds....its the worst kind of PVP IMO...Please just delete T2A and most of the safe zones already and lets bring back to the old spots(GY,Bucs, dunguens)!

Theres always action to be had, don't expect everyone to play blues and there be a ton of pvp action... People have to actually get on reds if you want action.

I'm not sure what they're talking about either, the dungeons have been lively with reds tonight. They always are.

I have been using assistuo for the past 2 days now and it is definitely more of a "cheat" client then Sallos. Assistuo is a great step up from razer, less buggy, better macro editor, faster, smoother but the things you can do on it can be game breaking for pvp. Assistuo would be a great program for a pvm environment but it takes away a ton of skill (where there's already hardly any left) from pvp. Some things include;
auto-bandage, will continually loop in the background as soon as you fall below your predetermined health.
auto-loot, this is just pretty lame :<.
auto pot kick, can make a macro you can just hold down when someone throws a pot and will kick it back perfectly as long as you have low ping.
auto remount, as soon as you are bolad/unmount will automatically remount for you and if you are more then 2 tiles away will spam all follow me.

More and more of these derogatory to pvp macros will emerge when people figure the macro editor out. Also all those weaken wand macros, delayed eb macros and the such everyone was complaining about on sallos can easily be setup on assistuo as well. Assistuo is a great program and I commend the effort the developers put into it but I don't believe it has a place in hybrid pvp.

Say what you want I predict at least 70% of pvpers will stop logging in and fielding if sallos doesnt get fixed. I know all the razor enthusiast have a hard on right now and are excited as ever. Lets be real tho the graphics/smoothness of the gameplay and efficiency is nowhere near the same its a downgrade. Kids will just start playing other games.

I don't think that people are saying you can only cheat with Sallos, I think they're saying that the majority of people who actively cheat are on Sallos.

This is Ryans server, he's going to do what he wants with it. If you don't like it then go play some place else.

In this game if I don't like a style of play, I stay away from it. For example, I hate the way ^SM fights, lots of wands/offscreening to gather vantage point etc. I just leave because I don't want to deal with it. Why don't you just do the same?

I have used both Sallos and Razor, there's things I like about both but when it comes down to it, after some issues with clients and client crashes on behalf of Sallos in comparison with Razor NOT crashing I stick with Razor. That being said, if you can't pony up and say, hell yeah lets decide on 1 3rd party program and call it a day, then Sallos truly is a crutch. If it takes players with it, the crying will also go away and threads like these will no longer exist with people screaming at each other.

Don't like it? Don't play. How are YOU any different from someone who comes in here and explains why they don't like this server and says they're quitting to which some genius on these forums say "If you're going to quit over something simple like that, you would just quit anyway so quit."? Same thing except you think you are owed something for being a regular player, well you aren't.

This is another syndrome that this game has presented in people that is truly outrageous. People are selfish and think that everything should revolve around them. I for 1 am glad that Ryan popped in and let his presence be known because I'm truly sick of the way people act on this game, untouchables. You now know his opinion, like it or not, he is God around here.

only video i watched without guilds offscreening/wanding and not using sallos is videos way back by EQMS, every other top guilds who posted pvp videos do wand sync/offscreen and uses sallos. just so you know

those players that will stop loggin in are the same ones who log out every time they die and get looted. its called ragers.

people who enjoy the game will continue to play by any means necessary. those are the kind of people that most players enjoy.

I'm just curious, so if T2A is gone and people go back to GY/Bucs, what different would it be when people hide in houses ?

He is right , you must have some kind of retardation if you stay in screen and waiting to get sync on.
especially if you're getting ganked.


The rule number one of fielding is that there is no rule. if you wanna see which group is the best at syncing/healing or at anything else then duel in the pits or make a set up.
Theres is nothing wrong about wand syncing as long as they are not macroed (i don't really support that)

Sallos still down and what?....... NO ACTION AT ALL.... Not a crutch, looks so much better plays so much better. No random client crashes. The list goes on and on. People who are saying they are so down for no sallos. Your a trammy who sits at Brit/Del bank waiting for a group of reds to run up so you can spamm "all kill" therefore u L2P....

For the record, I quit Hybrid for a long time and am just logging in a little to have something different, and one of the reasons was Sallos. I just like changing things up a bit, but the real question is why the last update message says it works on other servers, but it doesn't?

Making a red doesn't change pvp... Everyone else is still on blues.. Which means 20 blues gank you with their pets. Sallos gone, no true FUN pvp. Faction fights etc...
