But are you serious? Nerfing? Those spells were "broken" imo. An AE spell should never avoid people in the AE radius.

This is how GMs on their chars play.

That one was thrown in at the end for a couple of reasons.

1. Some players are synchronizing throwing explotion potions at a player (usually a party member or guild mate) and timing it just right so that when the target recalls into town the potion follows them and instantly kills an innocent player.

2. Murderers could throw potions into moongate areas and run off screen over and over again.

3. With tonight's AOE change, murderers would cry about not being able to use potions in town. I don't really care if they whine, but this makes it a non-issue.

No other AOE spell is allowed in town (earthquake, meteor swarm, fields, etc), this makes things a bit more consistant.

If you want to town kill now you'll have to do it old-school; use newbie characters and scrolls or poison.

So if we're not saying what a fantastic idea, we're crying? This isn't the way it used to be - or blues would hit other blues/guildies/everything also. We all know who this change is aimed at.

for the 2,3 pkg will cry know. only G&G knows the good way to town kill without being jailed

and tha last thing about doin it old school FS for teh win

It just doesnt make sense if your gonna do a change like that and get rid of faction fielding except for the few 5v5's in del and the east side of the world pvp early morning.... doesnt sound very good for the server as a whole =)

This change doesn't prevent you from continuing to use whatever tactics you've been using in the past.

If you are a murderer, you have to be more careful.

If you town killed by recalling pots in, well, you can't do that anymore..

I don't understand the undercurrent of hostility toward part of your player base. You are making changes and mock us before we even respond by telling us that we'll have to gain some skill at the game and tell us that we're whining if we express any kind of dissatisfaction with the changes.

I would expect this kind of talk from random people in the faction forum, but not moderators, current, temporary, and past, as well as Mark.
