The point is... If you say your gonna do something do it. Not everyone is being greedy, its just you tell people your gonna do a huge handout later in the night and have them waiting, and it never happens. It is kind of a waste of they're time.

It's only a waste of your time if you let it be. This is a free online game, not your job.
And since when is logging in four instances of uo and sitting at the bank "a waste of time"? I'm sure sitting there looking at your uo screen took away from your precious beast porn time, but that was your choice. You're not important, your time means nothing. Get over it.

Actually, they did. The handout with the thanksgiving Items are huge. Everyone who is eligible for them will get them when they log in. They did an update later that night and after that update the handouts begun and will continue until this sunday.

What part of the big handout is it that you don't understand?

What's funny about "holding to your word" is, in just about every situation it's only expected to be applied when the person benefits from it. *greed*

Exhibit A:

Bob tells Jim hes going to buy him a soda for lunch
Bob doesn't buy Jim his soda.
Jim doesn't care because Jim doesn't even like soda.
Therefor Jim has no interest in confronting Bob over it.

Exhibit B:

Roger tells Billy (billy is a methhead) he will buy him meth after work.
Roger did not buy Billy his meth
Roger is found dead in the parking garage due to multiple stab wounds then next day.
Billy loves his meth, and Billy benefits from free meth.
Billy was mad .

It's unbearably obvious that in this scenario, its all about people getting what they want. Nobodies being fooled, the issue of morality in this situation is not in question.

Damn people are greedy. I would have been set with a system message saying "Happy Thanksgiving". I didnt get that i want mmore she/he got that!...Fuck you all. The staff are under no agreement or under any kind of condition to hand out anything. I hope they delete everything they passed out.

The dam gms all told us a lie and now my moms all mad at me cuz she told me to go to bed erly cuz we had 2 go 2 grammas in the mornng and so i wated up all dam nite on my duel client and 4 wat... nothin cept my mom yellin at me cuz I wodnt go to bed thx ryan 4 tellin us liez and gettin my hppes up n me yelled at...

Just because you have no life and can afford to play UO all day doesn't mean others can. And that would also make you the least important person in society. So lets STFU and stop being a tough guy.

All i gotta say is no one needed to stay up. Just put 4 chars at Brit bank and go to bed. It ended up being a log on handout anyway so it worked out for everyone.

Hmm... perhaps you are right. Yet his earlier attempt at demoralizing someone on the forums for no reason is not the most common trait of chairmen who give huge amounts of money to charity. Never know though i guess.

You completely misunderstood anything I tried to imply which isn't even a surprise.

I figured you had some type of ulterior motive for the judgment you made against me, which you didn't.

You're talking to someone who was on a year and a half hiatus from this game up until recently. Someone whos game time consists of sitting afk next to plants 98% of the time ( I know gms who can even attest to this).

You're trying way too hard and you're embarrassing yourself. You simply didn't like what I had to say so you went after the childish personal insults.

You have no logic whatsoever, a guy was disappointed due to the fact that he was misinformed by the staff, or if he wasn't the message was certainly misleading. Instead of defending yourself with big words trying to sound intelligent, try actually adding a point within your replies. If you don't understand what that means, ill spell it out. Don't reply to this by comparing our intelligence, just state your point. Because so far you have no point to anything you've said. My initial point was to do nothing more then call you out on being a dumbass. My point was well made.
