This is true. Although I don't have high expectations for anyone on here so it wouldn't surprise me if people actually thought that this was a planned event and Flipper and I were actually trying to meet just for the hell of it.

hahahah i'm surprised you've even heard of it
it was a blast, i had a lot of fun and met some cool people. everyone who actually went through with it was pretty smart, or at least quite politically inclined... i'm sure a lot of stupid kids got invites but didn't bother showing up (and of course there were a decent number of fuckwits)
we had a libertarian speaker at one point, and before then i was the only libertarian there... after that everyone came up to me asking me questions and tons of kids were like "omg i'm libertarian now too" which was pretty cool, i had a clan
i'll see what i end up deciding to do, if it turns out i visit NC i'll definitely make you show me around franklin street, but more likely i'll be going to boston. again it's really a coin flip as to where i go and it's like 4 months away anyhow. but i've visited boston before while much younger, as i grew up in ohio... also been to DC/vermont/virginia/new york/new jersey/maine/pennsylvania... and DC was miserable, the worst place on that list (with the obvious exception of new jersey, which doesn't really count as a "place" because it's just a giant trash dump with humans living in it)

I went to it as well. Got to wear suits and look imporant as we strolled through Capitol Hill... My group was definately about as conservative as I am so we all got along quite well. With the exception of a few socialistic hippies who I enjoyed pissing off the entire time.
