You def should! Resist helps a lot in many situations. Hang in there and get resist to GM and you won't regret it :> Keep doing mana vamp on yourself, if you need gold for regs do city escorts. It shouldn't take more than 200-ish mana vamp regs to GM (I think).

You're better off getting resist to GM now instead of waiting, it'll be a lot faster.

I'd suggest using FS to GM resist though, just have another character to heal you. If you need cloth for aids, gather cotton/wool/flax in & around Del.

This is my flamestrike macro:

If { Hits <= 60 }
UseSkill Meditation
Wait for Hits >= 75
Else
If { Mana >= 40 }
CastSpell Flamestrike (#51)
Wait for Target
Exec: Target Self
Pause .50sec
Else
UseSkill Meditation
Wait for Mana >= 78
End If

Throw in 2 restock actions for SS and SA, along with this little gem:

If ( SysMessage "100.0" )
Exec: > Stop Current Macro
End If

And you're set, as long as you have someone healing your tamer constantly.

Based on everyone's opinions, ill just macro resist until GM. Will do some escorts to get more gold for regs, as im out. Character is coming along nicely. Wats the opinion on Vet vs Evalint for tamer/mage?

Haha, a little death wont hurt anyone, right? Characters name is Isabel. Out of regs, been escorting alot. Resist is around 94, not too much more to go!

i would just use mana vamp to finish GMing resist, it does burn the regs but u dont need a second char logged in to heal your tamer if you use the flamestrike method, and if your tamer mage is goin to be farming gold coins, id take vet definately, bandages are a cheaper and better way to heal your pets than eval/magery, in my opinion

You can gain on any bonded pet ghosts as well, as long as they aren't faction war horses. Check Del, it's a hotspot for tamers (and we have a moongate that goes there, so no running or recalling needed). Just lock A.Lore at 0, and heal the pet ghost over and over again.

If possible, I'd avoid buying aids as well, if you can gather cotton at Del fields, wool off the sheep surrounding Del, or the flax plants in the area. Best of luck

thanks for the tips fox. Happen to have a macro example for peacemaking? not sure how much of a pause to use.

Skill delay for peace is 10 seconds, but before music is 100, I used something like this:

Double click (Instrument)
Pause 1.00sec
UseSkill Peacemaking
Exec: Target Self
Pause 9.00sec

Since everytime you use a bard skill (provo, peace, discord) it makes a check on music (if you fail it says something like "You play badly and there is no effect), you might want to wait on macroing peace until music is in the high 60s, or maybe 70s. At GM Music, you'll never fail to play the instrument though.

Find a pet ghost (check in Del or Del pond) and macro away. You can use aids inside your bankbox if you're lucky enough to have it open, so you don't lose anything should you die.

Ah so bonded pet ghosts do work! now, just got find one, haha! how long should gm take me, nonstop macroings?

Well another quick update, finally GM'd vet, and am working lore now, am at 91 lore or so, very fast gains! Also have started another account, and GM'd tailoring on one char already! Loving the shard, cant wait to get some money for a small house, and to finish a pvp char! Thanks again, for all the help from everyone!
