I would suggest agreeing on a specific time to meet. Say 8-10pm eastern everyday and noon-2 eastern on weekends (or whenever is best for everyone). Any other time of the day you would log on with other characters and not your HCRP character.

That way you will know when people are on, everyone will be on at the same time, and people can't artificially raise skills etc while no one else is around (specifically when the more... ill inclined people aren't around).

I'm liking what I see so far though, can't wait to get in on the action and start alittle of my own

I shall do my utmost to be available for the "ill inclined" citizens of minioc today (in the noon to 14:00 est time frame)..... I love house calls, all the interaction and making the ill well again. It is what medical work is all about.... making a positive impact in the world!

I think perhaps he was referring to those of us who are inclined to do ill deeds towards other characters. Although, having a doctor around is always good too.

I was looking forward to treating some gaping chestwounds today ..... you know how miners can get on a saturday in a boom town like this! Pickaxes and daggers everywhere and the ale flowing freely ..... I supose I'll just make m' rounds ... resharpen my stiching needles and take a nap before the happy hour gets started! ...Hhhhmmmm was that somone crouching in the shadow over yonder..............

Aye keep an eye open for a young miner by the name of Flynt Whiteforge. He has a home near the caves north of Minioc along the shoreline. I had a nice conversation with him and checked some recent burns on his arms (may have come from the reapers in the area?)
Apparantly he is working the new viens all alone and could use some company if anyone cares to visit a miners cabin. (He was a fullblown roleplayer, told him to search HCRP on the forum)

Now is a good time to bring out your HCRP characters and new characters that want to join the "town".

Help clean up Minoc and get rewarded. Gunther is paying a bounty of 200 gold for apprehended thieves, beggars and gypsies by citizens arrest. They will be locked up in the Royal Guard tower till the magistrates can sort them out.

Gunther was last seen escorting a Noble to Cove in the company of the mysterious newcomer Draken Phantom. Draken returned to town alone with Gunthers affects, but has yet to produce a coherent story about the town guard's demise.

Draken and Gunther were taking two travelers to Cove.We had just goten them there and were on are way back.When we were attacked by undead specters Gunther was nocked off his horse...and would never move again...with anger Draken slaughtered every specter that had attacked them and took Gunthers belonging to the tower this is a sad day and Gunther well be avenged...this I swear!

been to minoc countless times, have encountered no one...
I gave the RP scene my all, but haven't been able to drum up much interest in my guild, or manage to find people on when I play that want to rp...
Going back to PVM...

Things have been slow in this little town... even after the new ore discoveries!
But I expect they will get more exciting sometime wich ussually means stiching and bandaging.... cleaning wounds for me!
(check it out in a couple weeks once evil child is back from holiday break)

And if you hanker for the company of others hmmm I hear .....there are a few near britania ...call themselves Demise Role Players (DRP) in both flavors as they say good an evil!

there used to be this real great RP Guild on Pacific called the Orcs of Gnummish...

they all wore orcish masks or Orcish Helms and looked scaggy/dirty, but where all GM mages and would gank anyone who came into view lol, they lived around vesper graveyard i beleive...

How could I forget Shoeless Joe.

Anybody can make a HCRP character. Death is final, no afk macroing skills, no outside items, build on the existing community of characters that have already started in Minoc. I find there are always players in Minoc. Most HCRP players on on between 8 and 9pm eastern.

Alas twas a great shock and loss to the lawabiding folk of Minioc, to learn the capeabale and confident Gunther the keeper of the peace had perished at the graveyard taken by wraiths and spectres.

I and Draken had assisted Gunther in the escorting of messengers earlier in the day. Gunther did have a dangerous habit of removing threats to the civil folks, such as grizzly bears which are known to occasionaly attack humans with horrible ferocity, and from the stiching and bandaging he and Draken needed I attest to the fact that grizzleys have earned the name ursis horrabilus!

There also was an incident at the graveyard when we passed to close and the guard I had hired, Hominy engaged a spectre and perished before I could get her to retreat, that was almost the death of Draken also, he required QUICK bandageing and stiching to save his life.

The others continued in the escorting of travelers while I made my rounds about town. As I was makng my way to the tower for the night, Gunther invited me to stay there untill I set up my practice in town, I met a downcast Draken followed by a bearer with Gunthers wordly goods. Draken told me how Gunther had been attacked by wraith or spectre as they passed the graveyard and they two stood and fought. Gunther and his mount Billy had perished. I examined Gunthers armour and pack and did find evidence of fire or energy damage and that Gunther had used a cure and heal potion I had given him. Unfortuneately Draken and I were unable to locate the exact place of Gunthers grave and did not think it wise to linger at the graveyard.

Any legitamate heirs to Gunther the Guard may see me in Minioc to claim his belongings in the next 30 days.
With deep sorrow in our loss and with great respect for his service rendered!

Ok, I'm up and in the guild.

Here's a few new rules for you.

On weekdays mon-fri only log onto your hcrp character from 8pm est - 10pm est
on weekends sat-sun only log in at noon est - 2pm est

If you want to get on 15 minutes early to get somewhere then thats ok and if rp gets good at 9:45 im not gonna tell you to log off at 10.

The guard tower should be getting furnished with chests etc so you don't need to use the main banks anymore... in fact its better that you not.

Also, keep most of your belongings/wealth on your character at all times. Only store exceeding heavy items like ores. If you end up having too much gold to carry... put it in check form and then put it in a bag in your main pack. This is so if a bandit kills you they get all of your things. If you die you're not getting your stuff back anyway. And this also give bandits an incentive to kill you.


Criminals may find safe haven in the small lawless village of cove which is off the map for mostly everyone else.
