You're not helping Canada's image buddy.
What you're referring to was the war of 1812 (yes, it has a name) when the British Army under primary command of British Generals attacked the US Capitol in retaliation for US attacks in Canada.
That being said I have utmost respect for Canada's Armed Forces, just as I respect the forces of any nation enjoined in the fight against radical islam.
