Cracking Down

This is another fair warning. Any type of auto-heal or auto-cure will earn you an account deletion. DO NOT DO IT. I am sorry to anyone who has had thier accounts deleted but the rules must be enforced.

Re: Cracking Down

So what about training characters? According to the standards set in these rules and the precedent set by the ridiculous bans that took place Tuesday night, characters were losing their accounts based on a macro like this:

"If Hits <= 30
Double click clean bandage
Wait for Target
Target Self
Pause 15.00
Else
Pause 5.00"
and Loop

EVERYBODY uses this very macro to train their characters in melee skills, but now it's illegal and bannable?

If you are using a macro as listed above, in your house, when all you are doing is gaining skill with your character then no one would report you, and no admin would ever test you for auto-heal/cure. This is not a valid point to be made.

And for clarification, its not bannable, it gets you firewalled from the shards and all assocated accounts deleted.

Re: Cracking Down

what about the heal/cure, miniheal/cure spell hotkey in razor. I have them hotkeyed and mash them from time to time. Is this feature no longer allowed to be used?

Re: Cracking Down

Karmann If you have to press a key its manual healing/curing. If you don't have to press a key its auto healing/curing. Auto healing/curing is the illegal one.

Re: Cracking Down

It seems pretty clear. Any form of auto-heal that detects low hp is illegal, including macros like above, unless your training skill in a home. If you press a button to heal and have self target that is manual and legal. More or less I think they are trying to say, auto-heal in PvP will get you banned. Correct?

That is fine because you have to press the hot key to cure.

Re: Cracking Down

So making a macro in razor for if posioned drink cure is perfectly legal as long as you don't loop it, but bind it to a key? Essentially all you would have to do is hold the key down when people attack and if you get poisoned you cure, if not you can still heal.

You're holding down a key so it's legal right?

Exactly, just go to hot keys, the potions tab and set one to drink cure pot.

Re: Cracking Down

If you have a spell up, pressing the potion hotkey will cancel it. Lafable's macro wouldn't cancel it, Krrios client was like this too.

Re: Cracking Down

Yeah, it's essentially an adaptation to 'smart potion'. Somone could easily add a heal pot after the cure also.

So is it illegal to hold down a key to run a macro? As stated above it's not, so whos to say if you're holding down a key or have loop macro checked?

Re: Cracking Down

It would not cure yourself and keep spell up. It would allow you to try and drink cure potions without cancelling your spell.
