This "rule" was a particularly stupid one...
The idea that runic valorite weapons cannot be faction imbued, while all other kinds can is simply a bias away from dexxers.
Faction action was at it's all time peak last night, dexxers have a place in that action... those who argue that dexxers need not worry about things like 'combos' etc... are simply missing the point. From a "numbers of buttons" standpoint dexxers may have less but there are *very* few dexxers that actually stand a solid chance in the field, specifically in factions.
This change simply evens out the playing field. Not having it would be like mages not being able to stun in factions... it's honestly dumb and was done as a bias against dexxers. Yes Valorite weapons can rock your socks, yes they can and will hurt when they hit you but lets be frank about it... it wasnt fair to begin with.
