Re: Razor

I love this new feature.

My fail-crafter now looks less ugly.
Now all we need is the next patch that will let us see poisoned and mortaled bars again.
I wonder if the devs will have to change something in RunUO for that...

that is not an OSI issue, but OSI changed some packets making the whole thing in RunUO weird.

So yes, it's only a RunUO thing now (and they are already working on it :) )

Re: Razor

OK I'm having the same problem as some others. My razor is still not working after fixing framework and reinstalling razor and downloading framework 1.1(probably just taking up space since 2.0 is installed.):(

Re: Razor

2.0 doesn't replace 1.1

Supposedly 3.5 covers 2.0-3.5, but I've read conflicting reports on that.

Have you tried manually updating Razor?

Re: Razor

On my Win98se Comp, I haven't let UO update to 7.x yet since I think it's a 300mb download. When Razor updated itself I had to update from Framework 1.x to 2.x before it would run again. Now whenever I minimize or log out of a character razor closes on an illegal operation and my control of UO is lost, can't type or anything, until I close that and start Razor again. And it takes pretty long to load all up again. I don't use many Razor features so is there any other way to connect? RunUO,UO Gateway, UO Rice (tiny prog that just made a copy of uo's exe with encryption removed), etc? Or should these crashes stop if I just let the game update to 7.x?

On my WinXP laptop (which I don't like to use since it can overheat and shut off on me) I have UO at the latest 6.x and Razor works fine.

Here's details of an illegal op on my Win 98 comp:
