Re: Continue the story

He then realized, that, his life was meaningless. As it was being told by a bunch of people that just keep screwing up the damn story with sentences that make no sense and have no real relation whatsoever to each other.

Chapter the 2nd

Meanwhile, in the forest near Yew, Jeremy Fletcher was gathering wood for his father's bowcrafting shop. It had been two years since the elven magic had restored the forest to its former glory, and even now at midday the sunlight was barely able to penetrate the dense foliage high in the treetops. As he bent down to pick up what appeared to be some choice branches, he became aware of a faint high-pitched sound. He jerked upright and began to survey his surroundings as a bit of sweat began to bead on his brow. Passing bards had told tales of many strange and magical creatures who had been known to wander the land, and while Jeremy had never encountered any of them something deep within his heart told him such creatures did indeed exist.

Suddenly his pack horse reared up on her hind legs in terror and bolted, tearing the reins from his hands and throwing him to the ground. As Jeremy regained his footing and returned to his feet he became aware that the sound was alltogether much closer now; nearly upon him in fact! Within a moment he realized that there was something behind him, glowing white with its own energy for the tree trunks before him were illuminated and he cast a shadow upon them. Slowly he turned, and faced the creature that had come upon him.

And on that note, it's bedtime for me.
