It's time for another Key Hunt! Those familiar with the game know that chests are randomly located throughout Ilshenar. At 1pm EST, the keys will "drop" into the world. How do they drop - they drop into the packs of random monsters. Keys do not respawn in packs; however, there are only 10 real keys hidden amongst several fake keys.

Players have until midnight EST to find all the keys they can and attempt to open the chests and claim the prize inside. At midnight EST, all chests are removed from game, opened or not. Any keys found after midnight EST are completely useless considering even if they were a real key, the chests are removed.

Prizes include a stat ball, skill ball, a woodland belt, a name change deed, and a few other goodies that players may find useful to keep or trade.

It's important to remember that keys can drop in ANY facet while the chests are strictly located in Ilshenar.

One question... can they spawn in champion spawn monster's backpacks?

girlfriend have a key that lockup my computer. if i can find the key that unlock my pc, i m sure i will able to unlock the chest !

The chests are now in game. All are located in Ilshenar and are colored bright red. Feel free to start looking for them now. Remember: Keys will not go into game until 1pm EST. Chests will be removed from the game at midnight EST (this leaves you 11 hours to kill mobs throughout the entire world and find keys AND get to a chest and see if your key works).

There are 10 real keys, and 20 fake keys.

All keys are in the world. This means that once a monster is spawned, another will NOT respawn with a key. Repeat: All 30 keys are in the world.

10 are real, 20 aren't.

Any way to get hints as to where to keys are stashed? If you want to make it hard, maybe in riddle format...

I've been at this for 4 hours without any luck.

They are stashed in the packs of random critters throughout the world (all facets).... uh, they don't continue to spawn. What was put in the world at 1pm EST are the same keys out there now (other than those that were found, of course). The keys won't jump around....

Other than that, no hints as to what kind of monsters they are on. Some are hard, some are easy.... anything with a pack is fair game.

So they can be on animals as well as monsters?

Should I be running around killing sheep and their ilk?
