Crusaders sacrificed greatly but their aggressive strategy meant they held the bridge and no orcs set foot for long on their side of the island. In the end the stalemate was broken by a final standoff in the middle of the island bridge. The forces of the Black Orc tribe where severely routed and have withdrawn from Serpent’s Hold.
