Where to work tradeskills

I`m going to raise an alchy and was wondering. Does it matter (skill gain wise) if I work alch at home or in town?

Is there bonus areas for diff tradeskills?

Same everywhere but if your going to do it in your house make sure your in the middle of your home pkers do happen to walk by sometimes
