This is a special notice to all of our players. We have noticed some activity of players sending out Trojan viruses and masking them as uogamers.com links. It is very important not just for UO Gamers but for computer security in general that you do not click links from sources you do not know. These links can be masked as anything the only way to prevent this is to do it yourself.
To help protect yourself and your computer I would recommend visiting http://www.microsoft.com/security/default.mspx if you run Windows. Most of the programs you find here, while not the best will be very user friendly. I recommend Windows Defender (prevents spy ware), Windows Live OneCare (automates all of your systems), and a pick up a trial version of a virus scan (AVG: http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5#avg-anti-virus-free ). It is also important to keep a firewall on your computer.
