I instaled the Uo several times from the begining - same problem. Then i downloaded other client installer and I went till 6-0-7 without a problem.

Nope. Didn't do that trick...didn't need to, I have not played OSI since 2003.

with no reason to update past 6.0.1.3 till now, I simply never ran uopatch.exe.

*sigh* need to FWS some more....

when running uopatch in vista make sure to run it as administrator.
that should do the trick.

Hello. I try conect demise but when i connect for 20 second disconect me and wrote "you dont have 6.0.8.0 client. " i try patch it but when i turn Uo patch wrote me

"Starting patch session...
Transferring patch information
Patch session completed.

nothing else but ultima always dont run because i dont have new client.
why?

seems to me like you are using a completely wrong client.
try this link and make sure you patch the client before connecting

with this error message i had a very simple fix. the first time i had it, i tried the ea fix, which worked...but was probably the same thing i done the second time. All i done, the second time, was instead of running the uo patcher, or the shortcut to the program, just run "client.exe" in the uo folder.
The patch.log file says that the client.exe folder was incorrect, but its not. It's just checking the patcher program that you opened not the client.exe. It's ea's stupid fault!
so yeah,
just run client.exe and patch it from there.

My client stops working anything after 6.0.5
I was able to get the game up at that (to be immediatly booted at 20 secs in game becuase of out of date client, by demise). Then I updated beyond that and I get send/dont send report error message immediatly after launch (IE I never get to login screen). So it seems something in 6.0.6 (I think its 6.0.6) , 6.0.7 or 6.0.8 makes my client not work anymore.

Am I screwed? Or is there a way you'll allow us to play on some client before 6.0.8.0, if not I cant really play anymore.

I wish they would allow client 6.0.6.0. Then we wouldnt have to use razor.
