I average an artifact every 2-4 hours, and I have received 2 artifacts in a 2 hour span before(more than once). I have 1002 luck on my suit, so 2002 with honor and I can definitely out-dps hell hounds on my sampire :3

you could build a comparable luck suit from HRSK's. it wouldn't have as much luck, or some other mods, but you only need around 610+ luck for doom anyway.

even an ABC swords character could solo doom with a very basic suit and still get an artifact every couple of hours.

side note: probably at least 3/4 of my artifact drops happened when I was using whirlwind while tanking multiple bosses.
