I'm not even close to vet but i have an advice.
Try collecting spined leather (in despice fighting lizardmans,these are easy and drop 12or24 leathers each depends if you are in felucca or trammel),its really easy all you need is a beetle.
It sells fast for about 30-35 even 40 gold each.
Best way of getting money (my own opinnion)

i second this... just get a pack llama/horse and have it stay by the stairs that way it doesnt get killed, beetle is even more convenient for transporting (being able to recall/sacred journey instead of gating)

There's a much easier way of doing the spined-leather gathering, if you're a necro.

Arm yourself with wither and a beetle, and then go to the Tokuno spawn. If it's on level 1, the only creature in that wave that will attack you is... you guessed it... LIZARDMEN. The beetle hatchlings are neutral to you.

Wander around just a little ahead of them, gather a nice big swarm, and then start spamming wither as they get close to you. I tend to grab 15-20 of them at a time and then wither them to death. Takes about 3 casts (2 really, but some will lag a little behind and miss your first blast).

The respawn rate at the champ spawns is almost instant, so you can repeat almost immediately. I'd say that just wandering around and really not trying all that hard, I'm churning out about 3,000 to 5,000 leather per hour over there.

So what if I made a scribe.Left him running.And stashing the scrolls in a chest or something in my house.But turned them in manually.The scribe would be on a macro.And if I were afk while he was going would that be considered unattended resource gathering?

That's allowed, as long as you don't buy/sell reagents/scrolls afk, you are fine.

some guy gave me 20k,just for bing a noob I guess,wish I could remember his name but it was nice and ima do the same one day.

Yes, people on the server can be very nice and helpful to new people who just start. I was given a LRC leather suit my first few days, it made all the difference.

In the beginning someone said kill the sheep.
Doesn't that yield crappy wool?
I like to shear the sheep first then kill them and wait for the next few spawns.
Fun in the fields of Yew...

I beg to differ on the scribe subject. I have recently been "jailed" twice for crafting scrolls afk. Even tho as stated in this thread long as I am not buying or selling scrolls/regs to a vendor its perfectly ok. Both times I was just running the macro with scrolls/regs that I had in my bag. Wasnt even pulling mats from bank. Yet this same "GM" is either stalking me (e crush mebe?) or doesn't read this post, or nobody has bothered to take the time to correct the false information in this thread. So which is it? Is it ok to craft in your house or whatever to work the skill or not?

AFK scribing was made illegal a few months back due to there being a very large jump in profit from scribing. You must be watching every scribe now at all times if you want to make money that way.

I am not sure what is meant by a reset. Someone told me today if I get a bunch of resets I can sell them. Are resets just bulk order deeds? or are they a special kind of bulk order deed?

Every time you turn in a filled Bulk Order Deed, the timer to get another BOD is reset.

Resets are just referring to a low level BOD that is cheap to fill and turn in, so you can get more high level BODs in a shorter amount of time.

The most highly sought reset BODs are from Elves with only 0.1 skill in Tailoring/Blacksmithing.
