What is the skill "Hiding" used for?


Hiding is used, quite simply, to hide. Skill level determines the chance of successfully hiding. (100% success at GM) It is harder to hide the more players/NPCs are around, and hiding behind solid objects and houses is easier. You cannot hide in direct sight of an aggressor. Everyone has 100% success in hiding no matter their skill level in a friended, co-owned or owned house. Moving when hidden (Without using the Stealth skill) will cause you to become visible.

why is it that someone is house fighting and all of sudden he / she runs into house and disappears and I can't enter or reveal in the plot?

he /she ran in house and start the house customization menu which forces him to be hidden and the plot unenterable.

A : You may purchase a boat from any town provisioner or fisherman. Boats are great for sailing to islands, and even fishing!

Q : How do I bless my clothing?
A : To bless your clothing, you must get a Clothing Bless Deed (CBD). These are, unfortunately, quiet expensive. The easiest way to get your hands on one would be to buy it from another player. The less expensive, but more time consuming way to obtain one would be to do Large Tailor Bods (Lbods).

Gameplay :

Q : What are Karma/Fame titles and how do I get them?
A : Fame and Karma titles are a form of reputation that you receive based on what you kill; players, animals, monsters.

Internally, Karma is -10,000 to +10,000, and Fame is 0 to 10,000. The scale for each level of Karma and Fame is exponential, so it becomes increasingly harder to get a higher title.
Your reputation and skill titles become visible to others upon acheiving the two highest levels of Fame (5,000 - 10,000 pts).
Karma has no influence. If you gain a Reputation title, this will supersede your Fame and Karma title.

how come when some players resses a person, that person gains full health?

because the player that is ressing have highest compassion (obtain by doing escorts)

Q. How do you leave a house quickly without running out the front door?
A. First and foremost, this only works in customized houses, and not classic hosues. Click on yourself and click the menu : leave house. This is a great macro to set up for pvping.

What ores can I mine and at what skill level can I mine them?



Iron - 0
Dull Copper - 65
Shadow Iron - 70
Copper - 75
Bronze - 80
Golden - 85
Agapite - 90
Verite - 95
Valorite - 99



Ore patches will always spawn the same kind of ore. If they spawn an ore colour other than iron, there is a 50% chance of mining it if you are able to at your skill level. If you have not reached the requirements of mining it, you will just get iron.

Ore spawns in resource grids of 8x8 squares.

A. Yes, this is the list of restrictions for Faction Players.

Explicit restrictions:

* Hero items may not be cut or smelted into resources.
* Hero items may not be traded to evil or neutral players.
* Hero items may not be worn by evil or neutral players.
* Hero items may not be placed on player vendors.
* Hero items may not be locked down.

* Evil items may not be cut or smelted into resources.

Q : How do I dye my hair?
A : You can dye your hair by visiting a town's Alchemist Shop and buying from the hairstylist there. Then you have a choice in how exactly you wish to dye your hair. This includes :

New Hair (50.000 gold)
Normal Hair Dye (50 gold)
Bright Hair Dye (500.000 gold)
Hair Only Dye (30.000 gold)
Beard Only Dye (30.000 gold)
Bright Hair Only Dye (500.000 gold)

What is the skill "Detecting Hidden" used for?


Detecting Hidden is used for revealing hidden players. The radius of detection is based on your skill level. Grandmasters will be able to reveal almost a whole screen.

House owners can instantly reveal anyone hidden in their house, regardless of skill level.

The skill can also be used for detecting hidden traps on containers, and is a perquisite for the skill "Remove Trap".

A. You need to have a UsePrimaryAbility/UseSecondaryAbility Macro to activate the optional Stun move.

What weapons can be repaired?

Any weapon crafted by a blacksmith can be repaired. Archery weapons and Carpentry weapons (staffs) are irreparable.

A. The staff member who renamed your char thought you had an offensive name and offensive names are illegal in Hybrid.

Why are explosion potions so commonly used in PvP?


A successful hit of an explosion potion will do 20-30 damage. Each 10 points of Alchemy skill will add one point of damage, so a GM alchemist will do 30 damage with each Greater Explosion Potion, though good timing is needed. They are useful even to non-alchemists, and especially to melee warriors to put in the damage.

A. You need a smith to craft it, it is located under platemail armor.
