Hybrid hunt

Hey its better than nothing. I only have about 300 points each account and I barely even tried, due to having a baby and wife having surgery after, and work. So I only put in a couple hours a week, and I missed all the events, most of my points were just from forums and IRC and such.

Don't give up too fast on all the items, besides the 50 points clothes and the carpets, I'm sure a lot of people will be blowing a lot of their points for the coolest shit (just wait to see the poker fiends duel it out for the poker stuff), leaving lots of other stuff open to lower bids, and its still mostly all one of a kind shit that is all pretty neat.

But like tessa said the main reason for the event was to get people out and interact in the world, which it did a good bit, I saw people and fought people in the furthest cracks of sosaria that I would never have if it was not for the event. If next time she does it like one time use codes, then even more people will be out there instead of just being able to buy codes.

So overall I don't have a lot of points but rather enjoyed the event regardless

I've had a good number of people asking about the Hybrid Hunt clothes from the last monster event.
They included:
All new Bod colors and some of the older ones
There are many items made from each color (including but not limited to skirt, fancy shirt, plain dress, half apron, sash, feathered hat, skullcap, etc).
There is only one of each item in each color. (for example there will be only one fancy shirt in hue 1914, and one in hue 1921 and so on - for each clothing type included). This includes sandals.
Not all clothes made it out. Some were not looted and decayed at the event.


Although they share a similar name, the Hybrid Hunt 2012 rewards are not bod hues.

I enjoyed the event also, but I was mainly hunting for the resources. Rugs and all of that type of stuff do not interest me. I farm ice fiends for wands to sell. I saw this event as a way to make some money in a different way than I had been. The prices are just so high and inconsistent is all I am saying. I just do not comprehend why they are soooooo high. So After I did this event I can literally buy I believe 9 empty kegs... I am not bitching, as I know it will do nothing for my case. I am really just wondering and very curious as to why the prices on resources are so extreme?

99.9% of people that buy a lottery ticket in hopes of a big prize never actually win the that big prize. When people go to a casino and waste half their day and hundreds or thousands of dollars, most of them in the end do not get back what they put in. That's just life. Why should some free UO server on the internet be an different?

most of you complain everyday about how trammie the server has become and then some crazy event comes around that no one expected that pretty much gives the server an injection of action for like a month. An event that no doubt took lots of thought planning and man hours to start and maintain and as a result the server saw Increased client #'s incresed action around the world map, not 1, not 2, but 3 invasion type monster events that resulted in pvp, rare drops and all that good stuff. But yet some of you, the same ones everytime, bitch and moan.

If some of you have felt wronged and cheated, you don't have to continue to waste your time on this server or this forum. You all have choices. Go play a different game. But stop whining all the time. Its pathetic.

this server is not a democracy, this is not some $10 a month monthly subscription to EA you are paying where in turn you feel you have some "rights" to complain and think you have some influence as to what takes place, this is a private server run by a very small group of people. Deal with it.

stop crying all the time.

I am not even going to sit here and argue with you because you are apparently incapable of perceiving any relevant information as to what I have said. Also who are you? No one, that is who. You are moot in my opinion, just someone who must have been butt-hurt so much on the internet that he must now just be full of hate. Blinded by words, in the sense that you can only see negative.

and just for the record, my original post was a general response to the bitching and people complaining. not just "YOU". Sorry your not that special.

and im really not sure what a 5 year old can or actually does comprehend. Some people on here are in their 20's and still cannot make the distinction between realistic expectations of a freeserver and some sort of paid service you expect to have some sort of influence with.

if you are not fully satisfied with this event, thank tessa for this great event, move on, and hope for more luck next time. If you go back 3-4 pages and read your own posts you say the same thing about the points and their values over and over. you only need to state your opinion once and then move on.

Tessa - Thank you for the event, it was unique and I can only imagine how much time and effort you've put into this only to hear so many people cry about what they can't get, and hate on those who did EVERYTHING they could to get points. I collected a lot of my points myself and didn't purchase any from other players. I wouldn't knock those who did either, because if I had the resources I probably would have also. I had a lot of fun, ended the event with around 470 points I think, and look forward to any events you come up with in the future.

You have such a shitty attitude its unbelievable, first you complain about a fun event on a free server, then when someone explains it to you you insult them and try to act all superior, and when they call you out for your unoriginal insult you pretty much call them a stupid and negative person. you are as hypocritical as you are delusional. You fucking suck, but i do like your forum name
