How to drop items?

im stuck beacouse i carry too much stuff how do i drop items? when i drag and drop it out of the inventori it just comes back

im stuck beacouse i carry too much stuff how do i drop items? when i drag and drop it out of the inventori it just comes back

Drop the items closer to your person. If you try and drop them too far away (some 3 tiles or more) it will be too far for you to "throw" and it will be placed back into your pack.
