Haha was thinking the same! Strange picking him too after all that stuff about having sex with an under age girl ages ago or something along those lines.
He must have received a nice pay check for that though, just doing some playback and cheesy acting for 5 minutes.
And since fifa is bloody conservative and set in its old ways (mr. blatter - corrupt old grandpa), expect some controversial referee decisions which wouldn't happen if fifa allowed the use of technology the referee could use. Most other sports have it. Boggles my mind really as it can only be benificial.
