There seems to be some misconception (guessing?) about the reason for the downtime yesterday.

I assure you, none of the "reasons" going around are true.

There was no hack, no failed updates, nothing.

It was a simple error on MY part (yes me, I killed it!) in accidentally setting a negative value on the wrong property on an ingame item. The item has a timer, so when Mark restarted the server, server comes up, timer runs, server goes back to sleep.

The problem was fixed, and code changed to sanitize the input related to that item.

thank you guys for all the wonderful and thankless volunteer work!

.. please give the server hamsters a holiday once in a while.. constant whipping do not, a happy workforce make...

its a free server u dont have to explain anything to us. there is no SLA involved. anyway ty for answering.
