Current Population? Player Base? PvP Mostly?

So I want to play old UO and this appears to be the place to do it. My 'OSI' AKA EA account is 78 months old. The current state of UO is just horrible. Going to show one of my friends this weekend how good old UO is.

So approximately how many people are on this server? This is a Pre-Trammel server w/ T2A? Sounds like a blast to me.

Looks like faction wars are nice and healthy way to get some PvP action!

I am a long time Atlantic Player. Had multiple characters and it was a fun time!

Looking forward to getting on the server tonight and exploring!

And Hybrid has a good blend of everything, PvPer's aka shittalkers, PvM'ers, Banksitters, trammies, everything you can find in a UO world, and the population is definately large enough to find plenty of people that will have their playstyle match with yours.

last night when I played there was like 975 players on. Depending on the time of day there is between 1000 and 800 players at any given time, sometimes more.

yea expect to lose your horse every time you die here

if ur a big pimp spender you can buy a donation ethy mount that you can use at any account age, or wait 3 months before you can get a normal one

bonding a mount is probably the best thing you can do if you have a friend/make a char to use vet every time it dies

Killing miners... reasoning... "I was whining". I said "All I have is shovels". roflmao

Killing 3 obvious noobs that are killing skeletons... OVER and OVER again... Then kill the wandering healer so they can't res.

Interesting night so far.

Is this normal? I don't see anyone sticking around that long when you can't even get to 50 mining because you just get res killed over and over again.

if you arent too far into your char, start with 50 smith and 50 tinkering
and hit up the 3 caves north of minoc, up past the fields. no one is ever in there.

thats exactly how i started until i got some money under my belt then i never left town. think of me kinda like Stoop Kid...

it's not hard at all to get started here. i have twice 7xed PvP characters solely off starting gold and noble escorts in 2-3 days. you can't go around and make yourself a target. skeletons aren't going to get you enough money to get started, anyway.

noble escorts are one fo the best ways tbh. specially if you do it with a thief character.

before you drop the escort off in a town, steal the money they have in their backpack, usually around 200 gp. this would net you about 900-1200gp per escort.

you can log on more than one character and beat on yourself to gain skills


to make money i would suggest getting a silver weapon and hittin up them liches

tbh.
