I was actually going to make an RP character for there out of an undead knight, but I kinda got sidetracked that evening and hence never showed up to the party.

The jewels were all crafted with shadow iron.

And I made that character in 5 minutes. ha

Same here... I saw LC announcing the Halloween party (via staff msg) when I was in Gauntlet, so I got out, recalled home, opened a chest and thought "ok, what do we have here that can be called a costume?".
Then I found a Polar Bear Mask... looked at the Ice White robe I was wearing, and thought "ok, why not?". A pair of ice white sandals finished the look.

The idea of the Tekagi as the bear's claws came a few minutes later
