A regular set of runebooks contains points of interest, towns, vendors, dungeons, monster spawns, ore spawns, tmap locations, etc... All of which are neatly organized so that someone can browse the library and books, where as a cutoff set for use with sallos is more or less just arbitrary rune spots which are spread out semi-evenly across the entire map. This is then used via sallos' map/recall engine in which you can press control and click on one of your party members healthbars and then your map zeros in on thier location and all of your runes (within reach) appear on the map as little x's. You can then just click on the desired x and you will recall to that spot. This is a huge tactical advantage and can be used to save your buddies from a gank, formulate an ambush, or just rendevous quickly with party members where ever they might be in the world. That being said, a set like this containing 75+ runebooks which cant be carried must ideally be locked down surrounding 1 tile or put into chests accessible from one tile so that u can recall to the set and then recall again to your buddy. Hope this sheds some light on the matter.
