Re: A Question For You

I withdraw my flying ability, and choose shape shift. Why is your list only two powers anyway? Why can't WE the consumer have variety?
Haha, cuz that's the game. Well, it's been 8 pages, so I suppose the truth can come out. Actually, this is a question from psychology and gives profound insight into the nature of the person responding. Psychologists would use your response to make judgements about your personality and behaviors in non-super-powers-having reality.
The choice is between invisibility and flight because they both offer something we as humans can never have. Total exclusion or total exposure. Total secrecy or total freedom. The results can then be applied to other observations to help the patient reach his or her truth.

The flight people are not thinking far enough ahead. Even if one could fly thousands of miles per hour, the Earth has a circumference of about 25,000 miles at its widest point, the equator. How many times can one fly around the world in a half-hour before that would become boring? I know that if I had the ability to only fly within a breathable atmosphere, I'd quickly become aware of that limitation and not be content with flying over Earth all the time. Rather than put myself into a position, I'd go for invisibility.
How do you get 25,000 miles at 1,000 miles an hour = circling the Earth in half an hour?

EDIT: One more point. Everyone can fly (get from point A to point B via planes), no one can turn invisible.
If you're going to use examples like that, hiding in a box would be invisible. Being able to fly at will is very different from being able to use something that flies. Just like being able to turn invisible is very different from being able to hide from view.
