I wasn't recommending that they make potions unstacked again, just that each potion still counts as 1 item the way they originally did (before they got the idea of stacking potions), Thus, people were limited by the 125 item limit in their backpacks.

Ahh, I didn't read your post carefully enough, though that only nullifies the points about looting and crafting becoming more tedious with such a change.

Yeah. Once they made the change to stack potions, with a stack of 30 potions only being counted as 1 item (for example), it enabled people to start carrying a virtually unlimited supply of potions. Before then, you would have to choose wisely when and where to use them. A battle between a macer and a fencer would have strategy, with the fencer trying to preserve their armor and the macer occasionally using magery or bandages to cure to preserve cure potions.

In fights against macers, people had to conserve their refresh potions. Alchemists did not have the current ability to just pot spam their opponents with abandon. The potion stacking had some unintended consequences that took a lot of strategy out of pvp with regard to item use.

A stack of 10 potions should be counted as 10 items and weigh 10 stones. That is the essence of what I was getting at.

The most thought out response so far. I don't know how people now a days PVPed back in the day based on how they react on the forums.

I hate potion stacking. It ruined all of my poisoning builds.

Stun nox
Thief nox
Fencer nox.

No point in packing 4 dp warforks when everyone has 20 cures.

And while I do support the hefty weight, I think the original one per one item count was better.

No one left loot in the bodies. It was all high value.

And then you know, now that potions weigh more and STILL stack, it's useless to steal them with a thief, just non stop failure.

On my nox thief I would burn/steal cures and just 5x them. Can't do that anymore.

This is a win literally reminds me of back when people use to still actually pvp here... you know... before everyone became a zerg participant... when solo nox dexxer's stood a solid chance in a 2v1.
10 heal
15 refresg
5 str
5 dex
5 cure
20 explo

Used to be my bag. Then it was
20
20
20
20
20
40

^ this is the reason i hate the way pots have been here... your way over 125 items just in pot loot... shouldnt ever have been changed in that manner....
