Sadly, that method was a bug and has been fixed. Now you can only remain in Vamp Form if you have the required minimum skill. If you take the jewels off you will be kicked back into human form.

Vamp form remains on if u soulstone necro off. But isnt really viable if you die often while spawning since you would have to leave the spawn each time you died.

well i think i will have to use 70 Chiv, since i cant get my hands on an CJH...

Don't think I didn't think about it though...
(Though I seem to recall that it also *poofs* if you cast certain spells while in VE with zero Necro...)

nope it "poofs" when u take of any + skill item.

Good stuff. Why parry though? I thought Bush was supposed to take the place of parry and then you could grab ss and leech more life and stam?

No. Bushido is used with Parry. The difference is that you get the highest parry chance with 2h weapons instead of with a 1h weapon and shield.

It isn't really important what stats you have to start with, as long as you have enough Mana to spam any spells you want to use for training. (and I'd put most of the rest into Str).

I just chained a couple of Neiras and it is certainly a lot more fun now. It actually pays off to have Remove Curse hot-keyed.
I used to be so sure I wouldn't die at this spawn I never even took a rezzer with me. This time I died three times first run (once to Liches on T3 which is a first...
) and twice on the second go (both times to LLs after multiple BOs dumped on me at once).This also means completing in under 50m is going to be really tough now.

PS I was a bit sad to see that Neira herself didn't cast a single new Necro spell on me (and still isn't affected by Undead Slayer) - can anyone confirm this? or was I just lucky?

I've never played OSI, so I can't guarantee anything, but I think all the sites I've looked at say she should be affected.

Yes. I don't know why I have it so firmly fixed in my head that she is affected. I remember researching this while I was writing up the "Champions Missing Special Attacks" for the Champ Spawn thread in the bugfix section way back when...
