How to Do a Harrower

Knight
Before You Go:
Designate one person as the protector. Have them protect every blue that will be attacking the harrower and then go sit in a non-harrower dungeon where nobody will find you. Designate another person to be the stealther at the harrower. This person will run Detect Hidden the entire harrower and be responsible for escorting the other scrolls to safety at the end. Party everyone and get their bars.

Killing the First Harrower:
As long as no enemies have found you, everybody attack the harrower except for a couple of people fielding. Reds hitting the original form or tentacles won’t mess up protection scrolls. When he gets low on health, clear all pets out of the room and get them way out of range of where any tentacles might spawn. When the harrower starts running, try and keep him centered in the room. If he dies in a corner, all the tentacles will spawn on top of each other and be extremely difficult. Make sure you are mounted before he dies, as soon as the tentacles spawn, get way out of the room.

Killing the tentacles:
Note: Tentacles leech life. Summons or pets only heal it all the way back up. ALL the tentacles have to be taken out before the true harrower is attacked because if not, the tentacles and harrower will just feed each other life and waste your time.

Meteor swarm them down from range. If the tentacles are situated ideally, you can stand 11 tiles away and meteor swarm a tentacle down without being pulled in to the center. If you don’t have an 11 tile range of sight to the tentacle, then just run in, meteor swarm the tentacle and then back out. The last resort is to bring explosion pots (make sure you don’t carry your whole stack in range of being pulled in and dying). Try and find a position that will allow you to toss explosion pots within a tile or two of the tentacle or against the other side of a wall from the tentacle. Keeping a strangle on a tentacle also does lots of damage and can solely, slowly kill a tentacle if nothing else works.

Killing the true harrower:
Once the tentacles are dead, all the tamers come back in. Only protected blues should attack the harrower from this point forward.

Necro tamers: I recommend using soulstones and switching out Veterinary for Evaluating Intelligence before the harrower so that you can attack the harrower with magic arrows and fireballs. If you don’t have Eval, then loop poison strike. When the harrower invises, make sure you say All Kill with your pet again. If there’s a red PK in the room with the harrower, everybody turn and attack him. If needed, you may need to fall back and help the defenders if they are being overwhelmed. Hellhound packs and HLD/HLA weapons help you burn through the harrower.

Securing the Scrolls:
Everyone turn off gold scavenger, it will mess you up when trying to transfer the scrolls. The stealther who will be escorting out scrolls should polymorph into something large like a daemon so that everyone can easily drag and drop onto them among the fields and greater dragons. Everyone should huddle around the stealther as soon as the harrower drops and transfer scrolls as quickly as possible. Once the stealther has 16 scrolls, hide and begin stealthing away. If there is no way out except through assaulting enemies, then sometimes it is best to log out and have your teammates hold the line until your character has timed out (log in with other char on same account to check). If the coast is clear, leave the dungeon through an obscure way. If only one way in or out, move out of the dungeon as a group. When you’re out, recall to a guard zone first. Don’t recall to the guild house until it is verified clear.

Defending the Harrower
It’s best to defend on a red necromage. A red necromage or two with a greater dragon is also helpful. Keep all tiles fielded with para fields. If you have poisoning, place DP fields at choke points where someone assaulting would have to pass through. If you notice a group of enemies is about to make a coordinated assault, have a few people fall back for crossheals and the rest cast protection and wait in wraith form. When the attackers come in, they should be stuck in fields and unable to interrupt your withers. If they are assaulting with greater dragons (or luring them at you in Destard), you better hope you have a friendly greater dragon at the entrance as a shield. If a stealther gets revealed, try and get a strangle on them, this will continually reveal them after they re-hide.

When the harrower is about to drop, have a couple of reds leave the defense point if possible. If you are being heavily attacked, do not worry about doing this. Cast reveals around the harrower to see if anyone is waiting. Throw down para fields and poison fields all around the stealther who will be escorting out the scrolls and wither around the group transferring scrolls and make sure no thieves are able to steal.

Checklist Before You Go
* Someone Dual Clienting to watch front of dungeon on alt
* Stealther at Harrower to detect and take all scrolls out at the end
* All blues protected
* 10 wooden boxes with 20+ candelabras in each and an axe to smash them with
* Everybody has 150k+ in bank box
* Blues and Reds in their respective parties
* Initial lurers have a runebook of all related Harrower dungeon runes and all Harrower spawns marked with UOC label

Getting the Harrower Set-up Fast:
Designated two mounted lurers to be in charge of getting the harrower lured to the right spot. These people should know where each Harrower spawn is located and where to lure it. Everybody else (Horde) steer clear of it until it's in the right spot.

Fire
* Lurer 1 and 2 immediately bolt toward the Harrower locations
* Horde field front door of dungeon in case anyone comes in
* If Harrower is on first level, hoard hold front door until lurers get Harrower behind robe bridge, fall in behind them and set up defense.
* If Harrower is on bottom level, everybody immediately head that way. Get Harrower in the defense building before everybody else goes in.

Despise
* Lurer 1 and 2 immediately recall to front of Fire dungeon and sparkle hop to Despise and begin luring Harrower
* Horde come in front door of Despise and make their way to swamp
* Once Harrower is in the swamp, set up defense

Covetous
* Lurer 1 recall to Covetous 3 and check the Harrower spawn
* At the same time, Lurer 2 recall to Covetous Front 2 and check the Harrower spawn
* When found, horde gates in to the right level and sets up defense

Deceit
* If Harrower is near front door, Lurer 1 and 2 begin luring it
* If Harrower is not there, rush to second level and begin luring it
* Horde fall in and set-up after Harrower is in place

Destard
* Lurer 1 and 2 rush to two Harrower spots and begin luring
* Horde set-up in designated area

Hythloth
* Lurer 1 and 2 rush ahead of horde to see if it is in the first spot
* Horde rush towards first defense spot, move to second if Harrower is in second spot

Shame
* Horde rush to Level 3 and begin defending gate
* Lurers find Harrower on Level 3 and lure to designated area

Terathan Keep
* Lurers enter star room gate, go down into Terathan Keep, lure the Harrower from the swamp
* Horde gates to Fire Dungeon, takes right sparkle to Destard and then right sparkle in Destard to Terathan

Wrong
* Horde immediately head to Harrower while defenses are set-up on front door

Wow, really? You know, those items are 'cursed' for a reason... you're supposed to have to go through danger to get those items to safety. They should really fix that... shouldn't be able to log out with cursed items in your pack.
