For this event we are going to try accepting 'disposable' characters by players who want to observe and not have to fight during this RvB battle on Sunday.

These disposable characters are for decoration on the battlefield, are not intended to be hostile and not intended to interfere with the outcome of the battle.

To participate this way, make a fresh/untrained character named Envoy or Ships Crew and meet at the pre-battle rally on top of the Luna Walls (accessible thought the stairs behind the Animal Trainer). If you like, wear a Green cloak and bring some crates for unloading from ships to make a barricade with.

Envoy and Ships Crew characters will be somewhat under the protection of Red Crusaders and somewhat under attack by Black Orcs, but protecting/killing these characters is not the main focus. Still, do not put anything valuable on these characters, unless you intend to offer it as a prize of some kind, as you are likely to be killed if attacked. And you are likely to be attacked if alone on the screen with an Orc.

This is just a test for an event concept that may become more developed down the road. Please PM or come to the pre-battle rally with questions.

Sadly, I won't be able to make it for this round. Some of my coworkers are working some overtime tomorrow and I feel obligated to join them.

Feel free to post your RvB questions here till we find a solution to the recruiting and results thread having gone down with the Guild section. Maybe we qualify as role playing.

Thanks everyone. Lots of fun.

Can't say I was much help, except as a distraction ;) But I'll be better prepared next week :D

See you then!

Red's seasick crew got in a middle of bloody fight and got slaughtered by vile Orcs. There were no survivors left in Red Crusaders.

Oh look, there's me in a screenshot :D I was wondering: How do you actually determine who wins? Those who died just ran to the healer and were resurrected... :p

Orc patrols picked up the sent of the crew before the boats could be relaunched. Envoy escort troops where able to repel the scouts and hold the beachhead, but they returned with reinforcements. Orcs more numerous than any had calculated poured out of the jungles. It was a general rout that lead to great slaughter, the Escort, the Envoys the Ships Crew where all killed even the livestock killed and the ships burned - which in hindsight was not so smart. Nobody has accused Orcs of being particularly smart.

The war treaty is set for a fixed about of time or a fixed number of kills. This particular war was set for, first to reach 30 kills.
