Attack on the Forest Caravans Sunday 8/7 3PM EDT (-4 GMT)

Red's are transporting supplies from Britain for the Northern regions behind the Orc territories. The walking caravan need to be protected against the vile Orcs of Britannia Forest.

One character is leading the Pack Horse and the Pack Horse need to be protected. If the Pack Horse is killed then the supplies will have to be dragged across to one base or the other in order to capture it.

If 3/5 or more make it across then it is a victory for Red and their North regions stay supplied. If Orcs can kill 3 or more then they have broken the Supply Caravans and cut off the North regions from resupply.

Current rules of Battle:
No looting, Mounts, Artifacts, Monster Loot, Runics
No modded spellbooks equipped or aggressive mage summons
Only store-bought bought or GM crafted items
Only store-bought potions and lesser poison on weapons

Deathrobes:
- Wearing the deathrobe will prevent you from being attacked. It also prevents you from attacking, as well as doing beneficial acts towards friendlies. Anything but going to get your corpse makes you fair game.

- On picking up your corpse the deathrobe will vanish, stay standing on top of your corpse (bones), you will be safe until your bones disappear. Step off or attack and you are again fair game.

The details of the event may be changed if staff conjure up a better solution or if a serious flaw is discovered in the proposed mechanics.

Meanwhile what we plan to do is designate one character to drive the Pack Horse across enemy territory while the Defending team attempts to provide protective escort.

With only one driver, we will have to reset the event up to five times. With some extra volunteer drivers we would be able to make it more challenging by putting additional Pack Horses in play at the same time.

If you do not want to fight, but still want to participate in this escort/ambush event, and don't mind the possibility of being killed, contact Frasier to join Red.

If you want to fight and like to see the Red Crusaders struggle to survive, contact Two Wolves to join Black.

Two hours till start time and 90 minutes till set-up.

Anybody with interest can jump into RvB events. It does not require making a new character. If your character is already scrolled or has banned skills, it does not matter. The only requirement is regular items and even most of those we can provide.

You do not even have to leave your guild. Just have your guild join as an alliance member for about an hour with Red or Black team.

It was a desperate gambit from the start, to try to take a caravan down the open roads through Black Tribe controlled region. But the Northern territories are in severe need of resupply and the Southern terrorists are not short on guts.

The first wagon was ambushed and killed about half way along the rout near an Orc hideout. Undaunted, Red Crusaders took it in turns to drag the supply chests along the rest of the road, while the others fought off relentless orc attacks. Those and the second wave of supplies made it all the way down the road to the Bog of Desolation region.

That would be the last of the supplies to not fall into the hands of the enemy. On the third, the chest was snatched by orcs only several paces form the goal and dragged all the way back. Orcs then started attacking closer to the start of the supply rout. With the horses gone, Crusaders had to risk dragging the chests close to the Orcs rally point, doing a lot of the work for them. The treasure chests of three of the next five waves ended up in the Orc bases.

The war effort will go badly for the North as long as they remain cut off.
