Orcs surprise attack on the Bog Of Desolation ended in their own agony. The news of the successful defense has reached the warlords of Britain. They have decided that now is the time to take advantage of the Orcs loss in troop strength and send Crusaders to reclaim Britannia Forest.

Rules of Battle:
No looting, Mounts, Artifacts, Monster Loot, Runics
No modded spellbooks equipped or aggressive mage summons
Only store-bought bought or GM crafted items
Only store-bought potions and lesser poison on weapons

Deathrobes:
- Wearing the deathrobe will prevent you from being attacked. It also prevents you from attacking, as well as doing beneficial acts towards friendlies. Anything but going to get your corpse makes you fair game.

- On picking up your corpse the deathrobe will vanish, stay standing on top of your corpse (bones), you will be safe until your bones disappear. Step off or attack and you are again fair game.

Animal Taming, Animal Lore, Veterinary, Ninjitsu, Bushido, Necromancy, Chivalry, Stealth, Spellweaving

All started great, but then it turned from Red 7 - BLCK 0 to 18-20 and BLCK wins.

 

[Two Wolves]

At first it appeared that the Orcs where scattered and confused. What started as a rout turned out to be a risky ploy by Orcs to draw Crusaders deep into the forest where dark magics and hidden fighters awaited them. Crusaders who survived where able to report that the decimation of the war making ability of the Orcs was a deadly miscalculation.

The Forest of Britain would have been a great tactical victory for Crusaders, linking the North and South regions. It appears both sides are more evenly matched then anybody anticipated. There have been many campaigns but no progress since the fall of the Forest of Spirituality outside Trinsic under the iron fist, the next four have all been successfully defended.



What will it take for one side to get the upper hand? Somebody should look after the supply lines.
