Showing up to a fight, losing, coming back and losing isn't cowardice. Talking shit on the forums constantly and then running in game and dying 1v1, declining all 2v2, 3v3 etc offers, and generally acting like a pussy (ie hickman). There's a good example of cowardice.
After numerous offers of 2v2, 3v3, etc:
I'm laughing at the excuse that you didn't have 5, and therefore couldn't fight.

actually, now that I think about it, the last time savage and I had 2v2s against lucifall and apple, they summoned in extra people

Sounds like a certain guild I know named stop.
Pretty much any 2v2, or 3v3 with you guys turns into a 2v6, 3v8 with a bunch of MS stacked and ready to go. It doesn't surprise me that no one will give you the courtesy of getting themselves zerged.

Actually that's not what I would do if I had that many numbers.
I would train people to actually be decent pvpers and not meatshields.
Then, I would assign them to fireteams.
As opposed to.
1. Give noobs spellbooks with only meteor swarm.
2. Stack
3. Arbitrarily fire wildly into anything that moves and hope for the best.
4. Reload as quickly as possible and keep spamming MS.
It works ok until you get split up and slaughtered out in the open. But at least that gives Bile and Paul a chance to run away and recall. Gotta save face ya dig?

Depends on your exact set up.
Both mages and dexxers can be quite useful for pvp. Most people play mages because they are easier to build and for the most part easier to play (and still be decent).
Alot of people play 2 hot key dexxers and can occasionally get a free kill from GZ... but at any other time they get chewed up and spit out.
I've only seen 1 or 2 good dexxers so far on demise though. So if you're going to play a dexxer do your self a favor and don't look at everyone elses play style or templates. For the most part they play useless disarm/conc spammers or fail archers.

All those blues have reds, they just refuse to play them, reason why:
Blues - Get Protected by the Guards
Reds - Don't Get Protected by the Guards
Nothing else factors in (Outside of Spawns) as a Reason/Excuse to play a blue character and if it does, you're a coward.
Except, thats how this game works. One's game play can effect others game play.
In my case, I play a murderous red character, who slaughters whomever isn't pillaging with me and limit everyone I come across down to a few things:
1. Dead
2. Seeking protection, be it House, Guards, or Different Facet
3. Logged Out
So whomever I come across to fight, if more than one thing off that list happens, that person is a coward, doesn't matter what hue his name is (Red, Blue, Grey).

Can you really not count?
There's obviously 7 people in the demise channel. 3 in idle and eby playing league of legends.
So even if you count EVERYONE you're at 11. Counting ONLY the people in the Demise channel there's 7.
