I chose to leave my faction, how much time do I have left before I leave?
It takes 3 days from the time you leave your faction to actually be removed. This is in place to prevent abuse of "faction hopping". Type "What is my faction term status" to find out how long you have left.- What are faction points for?
Faction points determine faction rank. Your rank determines the amount of silver awarded for your death. Points raise your rank which in turn allow you to equip more faction items (Armor, Clothes, Weapons).

- What is silver for?
Faction silver is used to make traps, blessed crafted faction items when you own a town, and to purchase faction war horses.
- Why did I gain/lose faction points when I wasn't playing?
This is due to Point Atrophy. Atrophy occurs every two days. Anybody who is considered an inactive PvPer loses 10% of their points. Inactive is considered as players who have not killed enemy factioners or died in the last 2 days. These points are distributed among everyone else in the faction.

- Why does my faction quit status say 7 days remaining, I thought it was only 3 days to leave a faction?
It is only three days to leave a faction. This is a glitch with older clients. You need to update your client by running UOPatch.exe from your UO Directory. Once the client has been patched the faction status message should be correct.
