Farming Gold?

I play with a tamer, and i recall to city at 4k - 4,5k, cos if i got some items, jewels, reags... it will be like 7k - 8,5k...
Ah, and i learned to go with only needed reags and no expensive loosing items... I'm not Reds' father or older brother to keep them with my goodies :=)

8- 10 k if i dont get to max weight before then because of looted items i usually do it for fun / fame anyway so im not super pissed if i die although i dont really ever get super pissed : )

usually till i'm full on weight which works out at about 10k goldish each time.

I run a seperate screen with my theif who just sits near the entrance so i can see who comes in - always invaluble if you're in a tight spot with some creatures and a few PK's decide to rear their heads

Like most people the dying isn't the issue, it's the walking back and needed to get regs etc

i usually just collect gold (no items or jewels) unless i run across a vanq spear, axe, or war hammer. i hunt until i have to bless myself to recall which usually works out to 12-14k since I don't collect garbage items.

i do what tonk said and have another char with runes in case i need a quick rez or a bola tamer to f* a pk. pks really aren't an issue though if you spawn hop to places that pks usually never go. hop 7 spawns that each have 3 elder gazer and u can bank quick, and camping a spawn that small isn't worth a pks time.
