Hello all,

It's been a few years since I lasted played on Hybrid.
I am currently deployed to Iraq and have thus far been unable to download UO. My connection can be sketchy at times and i've been unable to download UO from the UO gamers. I've tried downloads such as Mega Upload but after the download is complete I am unable to open the file, it simply opens Mega Manager, the application I used to download it with! The file extension and type both have Magamanager in them. Anyone know a way around this or a quicker way to download? Last come last i'll be forced to wait for a copy to arrive in the mail which will be 2-3 weeks.

I'm looking for a non PVP guild to begin with. I use to have a guild of my own with over 100 members at one point called "QRF" which was mostly meant for newer players and folks just interested in training and PVM.

I sucessfully downloaded UO after the 5th attempt. Took nearly 14 hours. I am no longer looking for a guild fellas, although I do appreciate the contacts and help. I will be working my characters and after i'm through i'll begin QRF again. I am not interested in PVP at this time due to the sketchy internet connection from over here.

I am a medic assigned to an infantry company. Either your brother's unit is being kept busy just to pass the time, or he's SF. My last deployment was 04 October 2006 - 28 December 2007. The country I sit idle and bored in almost daily is not the same country I was in a few years ago. (Which is a good thing)

A bored medic is a good thing though.

I've been to Iraq and at some points there was plenty of times where I was sitting around with my thumb in my ass wishing I had a computer, that was a while ago and I know alot of the major bases they have there are pretty built up with internet centers and such so don't try and call a dude out just because he's trying to play some UO
