Concept for a New Guild
I've been an avid role-player through out the years and am currently interested in starting something here on Hybrid. I know the community at this point is a little lack luster and fairly inactive, however an attempt will still be made. Only difficulty is I am not particularly rich and/or established here on Hybrid, but feel this is worth the time and effort of the gold collecting necessary to launch the effort.
With that out of the way here is the concept, and will be created in good time.
The Guild/Society will be The Order of the Magus.
The society is founded on the principle that the magics of the land are to be used sparingly and that those who currently wield it lack the appreciation of what it is. The society comes together to further study, expand, and punish those who abuse this power.
The society will have a ranking system which will follow. However, everyone is required to at least in part, indulge in the magics themselves. (req: Magery). The goal is to harness the power to create an ascension to an even higher power.
Entry into the society will not be easy, and will require some time through tutelage of those in higher standing and understanding of the greater powers.
The society will never rely on one sole person to make the decisions however, a council of three is to be formed. The council members will come out of the woodwork as the society further establishes themselves, however I will let you all know one has already seen the grand vision and will use this vision to create the society being discussed.
