Imho people who dont like dont have to use it... Its not mandatory, but why disable it?

Last I've seen a standard RunUO distro, chat system worked perfectly there.

The ingame chat system was terrible and no one ever used it on any of the servers I played on. Everyone I know used IRC.

So..unless the chat system has changed dramatically I see no reason to implement it. If people wanted to chat that badly they could use IRC. It's not like it adds to lag at all.

Ya the chat system and the [who command to send messages or see who was online was a great feature... ive checked out the irc system and for the 1100+ ppl who are online there never more than 15 in the irc channel.....

Put the [who command in!

all that would come from it would be more shit talking, and with 1000 users online i bet it could get pretty annoying.
