View Poll Results: Should factioners be allowed to gate out while flagged?
Change it to combat flagged gating. No gating out period. Just like recall. 43 40.95%

Regarding Gating Out

Hi there factioners, first of all let me introduce myself. My name is Faction (so you know what Im here for) I've been hired by staff to help out with the faction system aspect of Uogamers. I'll be here to listen to your concerns and to be a watchful eye for people suspected of cheating, point farming or any other shady business. If you have any suggestions for the faction system on the shard you can PM me personally and I will listen. I know a lot of you had concerns that staff has not kept a close enough eye on factions and I want you all to know that definately won't be a concern now.

Anyways with the recent reset it can't be denied that business has certainly picked up as of late. Huge fights between large groups of all TB, COM, Minax and SL have been waging all over the shard. One problem I and others have seemed to notice is that sometimes these big fights seem to end prematuraly, and thus end the fun prematuraly. The problem I think stems from people gating out with blue alternates to escape he fight. While I do think you should have some manner of escape if its clear you cannot win the fight and death is inevitable, I don't think its acceptable to be gating out in a 6v6 (for example) and one side losing 1 person and then gating out with a blue 5v6.

Should flagged gating be implemented? Meaning that if you are flagged in combat you cannot enter a gate? Or do you think it's fine the way it is? Maybe factioners could only be allowed to go in gates made by other factioners (non blue chars)? Maybe you have another idea regarding the situation? Share it.

Edit: Let me add that this is only in regards to faction players. If you don't play a factioner these possible changes don't effect you so don't vote.

If youre in factions and youre flagged by an OJ you cannot go through gates until the flag wears off...

weird rules like that are easily circumvented and hard to keep up with. we don't want some retarded shit like DFI factions.

this rule implemented with the removal of recall system in sallos. other wise zergs will be over powered and only the fastest will survive.


that or maybe a delay on double clicking the map for recalling? (if that's possible that is)

I agree take out the recall system on sallos. if not then its impossible to get away from a huge zerg of people even if your a factioner trying to solo w/o a gate. I believe you should be able to atlest have the chance to run away from the zergers. But with sallos you can just recall anywhere the lead guy is infront i think thats rediculous atlest make that person have some skills in knowing where your rune books are and how to recall to this spot.
