During the struggle of the Yewish people under the punitive taxing of local nobles, and the ongoing threat of the horde of orcs and undead threatening the borders and forests, the people had enough. It was decided a force should be built to defend the lives of the Yewish people, apart from the local nobility whom felt apathetic to the lives of their vassals and serfs, thus the Yew Militia was born it ranks built off the backs of noble and peasant alike unified in the single purpose of defending their homes, their honor and their way of life.
The Yew Militia stands even to this day defending the border tooth and nail to bring peace, justice and prosperity to the land.

YewMilitia Core
The Militia Core is an organization within the militia founded in the very roots of the History of the Yew Militia. It consists of the militia’s vanguard or frontline fighters heavily armored and armed with Yewish steel. The duties of these battle-hardened individuals is patrols, tax collection, guard duty as well as being the steel backbone of the Militia’s armed forces. Need something smashed, slashed, severed or decapitated. The Core is your place to be, many of the men and women of the steel are ruthless in battle but hold a strong bond in brotherhood.
The Arcane Order of Yew Militia
The Order is the magic division of the Yew Militia. The Order focuses on aiding their fellow militia through use of offensive, defensive, and support spells. The presense of a member of The Order can turn the tide of a battle to favor the Militia. The Order is for those who wish to learn more in the ways of the arcane, and take their magic to the next level while supporting the fight to defend Yew.
Yew Militia Rangers
The elite forces of the Rangers is one shrouded in secrecy, where shadows lurk a ranger is sure to be waiting. Known to be men and women of the forests the rangers make the forest their home, they make silence their way of life and stealth their method of movements. Excelling in the use of poison, archery and deception they are the foremost experts in assassination, recon, and information trading.
