Selling stuff for real money seems to be ok for the bills of the server. Just if someone only buys the skill ball to resell it within the game no additional gold will be generatet. On the other hand, paying and get one million means to pump another million of gold inside the game.
I don´t know how many RL money you make with the selling of gold and how many with selling the other stuff. But producing more and more gold, just by pressing some buttones through a GM or so, destroys the entire economy, or the rest of it thats still exists.
Just my 2 cent, and not even worth this as a new player on UO:G

I've started to notice there seems to be extremely heavy spawn just in the forests as well. I was marking treasure runes around the cross roads (Britain, Skara Brae, Yew) and right where all the paths meet there are insane numbers of harpies, trolls, ogres and orc mages. I have to throw a bunch of blade spirits down just to mark one or two runes. That could use some adjustment. ^_^
