I am Cort, leader of the Highwaymen. What is a Highwayman you ask? We are Bandits, Brigands, Thieves, but more importantly we are gentlemen of the road. If we come across you on the roads, in the dungeons, or any place unguarded by the pawns of Lord British, you will pay taxes to the Highwaymen or face death. Those who quickly hand over their gold will not be killed. If you run or do not comply with our instructions we will take more than gold, and will not give you the benefit of the doubt on our next encounter. Those who pay without trouble will have the protection of the Highwaymen.
We can be spotted by the red caps worn upon our heads, and the banner we display bearing [HM].
More will be revealed of our cause in due time.
For now, I look forward to meeting all of you upon the roads.. "Your gold, or your life!"

We are a PVP RP guild created to help change the way people interact on Hybrid, particularly pvp and also with new players.
With some simple guidelines everyone can have a better experience on the shard when PvPing whether your character is blue or red. Some of the rules of the Highwaymen:
-Do not kill players that are obviously new. If anything help them out however possible.
-Do not rez-kill.
-Do not dry-loot. We take only what we need.
-Do not call for backup unless outnumbered.
-No Trashtalking.
-Do not get involved in 1v1 or matched up fights that are already in progress.
-Do not bring in your other chars to retaliate when you get killed. If you lose you lose.
-Rez the fallen, even your enemies, when it is convenient to do so.
-Standard RoE with other RP guilds.
These guidelines will help maintain the challenge and honor of PvP interactions, and if you and your guild, RP or not, would like to help push PvP in that direction please take them into consideration and apply them to your own guild. Any feedback here is welcome.
