I use vista as well, and there's another area on the drive with a similar file structure, including the active macros and the character settings.
I can't remember exactly where they are (on a work computer atm), but if you 'search' your drive for "macro", it'll find the folder for you.

Reinstall XP... I got so tired of Vista on my new PC that I reinstalled the OS and I love my computer so much more because of it!
