As most of you probably have noticed, the shard was experiencing severe latency issues towards the end of New Years eve, and completely went down around 10 PM EST. This was because of a DDOS attack targeting Hybrid, which forced the host to shut down connection to both shards, as well as the forums.
Around 5 AM we moved Hybrid to a new location, so that Demise and the forums can be made available again in the old location. This took a little while, waiting for the host to remove the restrictions on the network.
As you can see, the forums and Demise are back up now. We are in the process of updating DNS records, and everything should be running again smoothly very shortly.
Because of this downtime, we will extend Christmas Town by 1 day, it will now close Sunday night.
