New Game: Double Domination!
Double Domination is the newest addition to UOGamers: Hybrid. (Re-introduced after more than 2 years of absence.)
Double Domination is a relatively simple game to understand. There are two teams, and two "way points." A team scores points by controlling both way points at the same time for 10 seconds.
When you move over a way point it's center tile changes color to match your team color indicating you have captured that way point. When your team controls both points, the outside stairs will begin to change colors. When the entire waypoint is you team's color you have scored. The way point will turn black and be "inactive" for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds it will turn grey and can be captured again.
To steal a way point from the other team you must move over some part of it. Standing still on the way point will not prevent the other team from stealing control.
Because there are only 2 teams and 2 way points, sign up times will be very short ( 5 minutes or less in some cases ) to limit the number of players at once. You should try to sign up as soon as sign up opens to ensure you "make the cut."
PS. Double Dom is "free consume" like CTF and Bombing Run.
PPS. Like Bombing Run, Double Domination was inspired by Unreal Tournament.
