Long Spear vs Short Spear: Which do you think is superior?

Which one do you think is better?

usually i'll take em long but not too long, and if they're short I dont want them to be too girthy and wide.

I've always preferred the short spear for speed, but I'd probably use the long spear for some low dex templates like a tank mage. Tough call.

Think Im gonna stick with long spears...
Been using short aggy spears past few days, and while they work wonder against unarmored/shitty leatherarmored players and tamers, they are kinda garbage against magic leather armor and above.

I believe ashort spears were more effective on osi back in the day. Not sure which is better here. I do prefer the look and swing motion of a long spear.

No matter how I try to articulate my post. It's completely ruined after tech lol.
