Howto IRC

Well, I noticed that the network is kinda fucked sometimes.
To join the #demise channel on irc.runuo.com you now need a registered nick.

Therefore you must register your nick. To do this, type the following (after connecting to the network): /msg nickserv register password email

Then afterwards, It may actually tell you two things you should do to auth:
/msg nickserv auth password
/msg nickserv identify password

you MUST use /msg nickserv identify password
Or it will not work. I was told to type the auth one, but i couldent join channel when doing so! So i thought maybe others had the same problem

After registering and identifying yourself, you can now join the channel #demise

EDIT: I want no flame on this one, since not everyone knows this!

All written above is correct but this way u have to type the identify line into ur mirc every time u turn it on.
Use menu: file>connect>options>perform
and type the mentioned above line /msg nickserv identify password
(also check the box "enable perform connect")

This makes u identify automatically after u run your mirc and connect to server.
